Scientific Software
Contemporary scientific work is almost unthinkable without the use of computers. While some of the relevant programs
are available from commercial vendors or are - preferably - of open source origin, we often experience the need for
computer software written by the practicing scientists themselves.
Here, you find a collection of programs from our laboratory. This is all open source software under the
Gnu Public License.
We think that open source software development is particularly
important in a scientific context: the details of the work should be available freely (be it synthetic
procedures for chemicals or computer algorithms) to be checked by peers. Thus, these programs are also
examples of open science. All programs are available through
sourceforge.
